As Test Engineering Manager at Badger Technologies, Rich is responsible for successfully implementing and maintaining various forms of testing including Functional, Manufacturing Defects Analyzer (MDA), Flying Probe, Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), shorts /opens, and Hipot. He has over 25 years of experience in Test Engineering and Calibration exclusively in the electrical contract manufacturing industry including not only printed circuit boards and box builds but cables and harnesses as well. He joined the company in January 2011 in his current role.
Before joining Badger Technologies, Rich was the Director of Test Engineering at IEC Electronics. There he had responsibility for managing up to 70 engineers and technicians to not only implement and maintain complete test strategies but ensure production failures were resolved in a timely fashion and corrective action was fed back to the production line. Customer communication has been an important part of Rich’s career whether working out the details in quotations or resolving test related issues including product specific training of Test Engineering personnel.
Rich holds an Associates Degree in Electrical Technology. In his spare time he likes to drive his collector car, golf, DIY around the house, spend time with the family, and help out the local historical society.
